Distribution Associate / Standup Forklift (1 st Shift)
We are hiring a Distribution Associate. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, shipping / receiving experience with Standup Forklift Operation. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets.
PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
LOCATION: DFW Airport, TX 75261
SHIFT: 5:00am to 1:30pm OT as needed.
DUTIES:
- Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
- Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
- Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Drug Test
- Background Check
- Standup Forklift experience - Required
- Forklift Certification - Preferred
- RF Scanner
- Shipping & Receiving
ABILITIES:
- Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
- Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
- Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
