Downstream Packaging Operator

Pay Rates:

1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM): $18.00/hr

2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): $18.50/hr (includes shift differential)

3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): $19.00/hr (includes shift differential)

Position Summary

The Downstream Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging finished plastic products, palletizing boxes, wrapping pallets, and preparing completed orders for shipment. This role ensures products meet quality standards and are safely secured for transport.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for quality and defects.
• Package products according to company specifications.
• Palletize finished goods and stack boxes safely and efficiently.
• Wrap pallets using stretch wrap to prepare for shipment.
• Label products and pallets accurately.
• Maintain production and packaging records.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, packaging, palletizing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
