POSITION OVERVIEW
Blue Goose Security Transportation, LLC (Blue Goose) provides executive protection and secure luxury transportation services to executives, business leaders, and high-profile individuals across the DallasFort Worth metroplex. Blue Goose is building its founding roster of Personal Protection Officers a role for senior protectors ready to continue their mission in the private sector, serving principals who demand the same excellence delivered downrange or on the job.
Blue Goose was founded by a Navy SEAL and retired police detective who understands what the transition from service to civilian life requires an organization that matches the operators standards. The founding roster is being built deliberately. This position begins as part-time W-2 employment, with full-time conversion as Blue Goose grows.
This is a non-binding solicitation of an application for employment and is not a binding offer of employment. The actual terms of employment will be negotiated by the successful applicant and Blue Goose only after the application process and background investigations have been completed and the parties have agreed in writing upon the actual terms of employment.
Employment may be terminated at any time at the discretion of Blue Goose.
POSITION DETAILS

Part-Time W-2 Employee (FLSA Non-Exempt, Hourly)
Initial Schedule:
1525 hours/week (Part-Time) | Full-Time conversion based on performance and company growth
Area of Operations:
DFW Metroplex (with occasional travel as required by detail)

Operations Manager / Mark MJ Blais, Founder & CEO
Hourly Rate:
$39.00/hour starting; senior operators evaluated for elevated compensation based on credentials and experience
Projected Start Date:
Approximately 2 weeks from offer acceptance

Premium fleet Cadillac Escalade ESV and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, maintained to inspection standard
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Part-Time (Initial Employment)
Starting Rate: $39.00/hour
Senior operators with extensive EP, SOF, or elite LE backgrounds may be evaluated for elevated starting compensation based on credentials and experience
Schedule: 1525 hours/week (client-driven assignments)
Overtime: time-and-a-half for hours exceeding 40 in a workweek

Base Rate: $39.00/hour with 40 hours/week guaranteed (rate adjusted for senior operators per starting evaluation)
Annual Base: approximately $81,120 (before overtime)

PATH TO FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT
Blue Goose is building its founding roster through demonstrated competence under real operational conditions. Full-time conversion is a function of company expansion, client demand, and operator performance not seniority or time served.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Protection & Secure Transportation
Provide close protection and secure transportation for assigned principals
Conduct threat assessment and real-time environmental monitoring
Execute defensive and evasive driving techniques as conditions require
Perform advance reconnaissance and route planning for all assignments
Execute emergency response protocols (medical, security threats, evacuations)
Client Service & Professionalism
Deliver a seamless, luxury client experience befitting C-suite executives and high-profile individuals
Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding all principal information and movements
Complete accurate trip documentation and after-action reporting
Vehicle & Equipment Standards
Maintain assigned vehicle to Blue Goose inspection standards at all times
Coordinate scheduled maintenance and report vehicle concerns immediately
Conduct pre-detail vehicle inspections and security sweeps
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Senior Operator Background (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum seven (7) years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following:
U.S. Special Operations Forces Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Raiders / MARSOC, 75th Ranger Regiment, Air Force Pararescue or Combat Control
Federal protective details U.S. Secret Service, Diplomatic Security Service, U.S. Marshals Service
Federal tactical units FBI HRT, USMS SOG, DEA SRT
Elite state and municipal law enforcement Texas Rangers, DPS Governors Detail, SWAT, Special Response Teams
Detective-level investigative experience with dignitary or executive protection assignments
Professional executive protection Fortune 500 corporate EP, UHNW family detail, dignitary protection with verifiable principal-protection track record
Honorable discharge or separation in good standing with no adverse actions
Licensing & Credentials (Non-Negotiable)
Texas DPS Level 4 PPO license (current, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Valid Texas Drivers License (Class C minimum) with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
Clean criminal history and background check
Firearms proficiency and ability to pass Blue Goose firearms qualification
Preferred Additional Qualifications
Defensive or high-performance driving certification
Emergency medical training (EMT, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, 18D)
Executive protection school completion
Firearms instructor certification
Counter-surveillance training
Foreign language proficiency
Active or reinstatable Top Secret security clearance
Corporate Fortune 500 or dignitary protection client experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands listed below are essential functions of this position, directly related to emergency response, principal extraction, and sustained operational readiness.
Essential Physical Functions
Ability to move, carry, or drag an incapacitated adult up to 200 pounds to safety and load into an SUV in an emergency extraction
Cardiovascular conditioning sufficient for sustained exertion under high-stress conditions, including rapid movement and defensive positioning
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods (shifts may exceed 12 hours)
Full range of motion in all extremities to operate vehicle controls, engage in defensive tactics, and respond to physical threats
Visual acuity and peripheral awareness sufficient to detect and assess potential threats in dynamic environments
Ability to maintain composure, mental acuity, and sound judgment under conditions of acute stress, fatigue, or physical threat

APPLICATION PROCESS
Phase 1: Submit resume, DD-214 or service record summary, and current PPO license (or proof of enrollment)
Phase 2: Phone screen with Operations Manager or Founder (30 minutes)
Phase 3: In-person interview with scenario-based assessment (2 hours)
Phase 4: Background investigation, driving record review, reference checks, and psychological evaluation at company expense
Phase 5: Driving assessment, shooting qualification, and final interview
Phase 6: Written offer to successful applicant
