Job Description

Job Purpose:

Support FXI Terrell, TX in the following areas:.... Incoming, process, quarantine, customer service to assurance to reach the company objectives through their experience on the administration of the product, process and personal, interacting with internal and corporate management team and costumers relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform mechanical preventive maintenance on all plant equipment and machinery.
  • Metal fabrication (structural and sheet).
  • Shielded metal-arc welding.
  • Interprets detailed written instructions and procedures.
  • Prepares inventory lists, maintenance notes and other written information.
  • Oxy/acetylene cutting.
  • Interprets mechanical drawings.
  • Interprets simple electrical schematics.
  • Wood fabrication.
  • Supplies personal hand tools, vom, understands basic math (ratios, fractions and circles) and understands metric measurement.
  • Minimum 3 years directly related experience.
  • Must be able to read, understand and comply with plant and company policies and procedures, such as safety, s.o.p., s.e.p., etc. Which are all written in english.
  • Complete position requirements training for job code 690220.
  • Keep work area clean and organized throughout the shift in accordance with 5s standards.
  • Installs and repairs irrigation sprinklers.
  • Digs holes, shovels dirt.
  • Mixes and pours concrete, grout.
  • Installs and repairs gypsum board walls.
  • Paints (brush, roller, spray can, spray gun)
  • Replaces lamps at ceiling height (up to 36 feet)
  • Communicate with supervisor when non-conforming product.
  • Stops production to correct quality problems.
  • Environmental aspect and impact awareness.
  • report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process
