Job Title: Security Administrator/Security Engineer

Workplace Schedule: 4 days in-office; 1 day remote

We are looking for an experienced Security Administrator to own and advance security operations and architecture across our cloud, network, identity, and endpoint environments. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution, independent decision-making, and clear communication with both technical teams and business leaders.
The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy while helping guide the organization's overall security strategy.
Required Experience & Skills

• Prior experience in a Security Administrator, Security Engineer, or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • zure security tooling and services
  • CrowdStrike
  • Secureworks and/or Sophos
  • Mimecast
  • Entra ID, identity management, and SSO integrations
• Working knowledge of:
  • Cloud infrastructure and engineering concepts
  • Network design and security fundamentals
  • Security architecture and defense-in-depth principles
• bility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of security initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and ethical decision-making

• Experience with ethical hacking, penetration testing, or red team activities
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and exploitation tools
• Industry-recognized security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar)
• Experience partnering with IT operations, infrastructure, and leadership teams
• Involvement in incident response planning or tabletop exercises

• Manage, monitor, and tune enterprise security platforms, including:
  • Microsoft Azure security services
  • CrowdStrike
  • Secureworks and/or Sophos
  • Mimecast

• Implement and maintain security controls and best practices across:
  • zure and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Network and perimeter environments
  • Endpoint protection, identity, and access management platforms

• Work closely with cloud, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure design, configuration, and operational standards
• Provide security input on architectural decisions, technology changes, and new initiatives

• Review and respond to security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and lead incident response efforts when required
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation planning

• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and standards
• Communicate risks, findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and leadership
