Work hours: Full Time Days (Rotating Day Shifts). 8-hour shifts - 40-hour work week - Typically Monday-Friday 6:30a-3:00p

Security Systems Officer Department highlights:

Here's What You Need
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And
  • Associate's Degree Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field. is preferred
  • 2 Years security, law enforcement, or military police is preferred and
  • 2 Years healthcare or education is preferred
  • DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire is required And
  • NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 14 Days is required And
  • CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 90 Days is required And
  • TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 60 Days is required And
  • ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required
  • Ability to make independent decisions with tact and mature/positive attitude. ability to assume responsibilities. Ability to be cooperative, discreet and courteous within scope of assigned authority.
  • Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.
  • Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.
What You Will Do
  • Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
  • Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
  • Randomly monitors building openings and closings to ensure safety protocols are being adhered to.
  • Conducts random weapon screening.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities. Reports and escalates situations to the Threat
  • Management team as appropriate.
  • Provides quality customer service to Texas Health employees, visitors, and guest.
  • Responds timely to calls for service and emergency situations.

Texas Health Hospital Rockwall has served Rockwall, Kaufman, Hunt, and surrounding counties since 2007. Our 105-bed acute care hospital provides medical and surgical services to patients from Rockwall, Heath, Fate, Royse City, McLendon-Chisholm, eastern Dallas County, southern Collin County, and nearby communities.

Our hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, labor and delivery suites, cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology suite, expanded surgery suites, and emergency and intensive care areas.
