About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated Security Personnel who are passionate about maintaining safety and security in our facilities. This role involves routine inspections of the premises to meet security standards and oversee access control to our buildings.

This positionplays a crucial part in the Security and Fire function, focusing on safeguarding our organization's physical security and fire safety.

What You'll Do:

  • Enhance relationships with tenants, visitors, and guests through courteous service.
  • Oversee security operations on your shift to ensure a safe environment.
  • Document essential information for seamless handovers to subsequent shifts.
  • Assist during emergency situations such as fires and evacuations.
  • Monitor the building's life safety system and central security panel, reporting any issues to management.
  • Ensure proper coverage of designated security posts throughout the property.
  • Utilize electronic surveillance equipment as necessary.
  • Notify management of any atypical situations or incidents.
  • Control access to buildings while monitoring visitor activities.
  • Regularly monitor overall building operations and report fire and safety hazards.
  • Maintain open communication with the Security Manager regarding any events or concerns.
  • Keep detailed daily logs and shift reports; review and reflect on performance.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to operating guidelines and practices.
  • Analyze data to resolve complex issues and propose new techniques when applicable.
  • Collaborate with other teams to enhance security measures and practices.

What You'll Need:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification as required by local or national guidelines for security staff.
  • Strong understanding of processes and systems relevant to security functions.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and logically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach.
