Shipping Clerk with 10-key experience

Location: Dallas, TX

1st shift-Monday thru Thursday, Saturday 6:00AM to 2:30PM

3rd shift-Monday thru Thursday, Saturday 10:00PM to 6:30AM

Pay Rate: $17.50

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Floater Shipping/Receiving Clerk with proficient 10-key skills to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to handle a variety of tasks, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of contents and documentation.
• Prepare and process outbound shipments, ensuring all items are accurately documented and securely packaged.
• Utilize 10-key skills for efficient data entry of shipping and receiving information into the system.
• Maintain organized records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Flexibility to float between different tasks and departments as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
• Strong 10-key data entry skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages up to a certain weight as required.
• Familiarity with inventory software and systems is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This position is based on-site in Dallas, TX, with no remote work option available. The role requires physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting throughout the workday.
