THE POSITION

Reporting organizationally to the Venue Technology Asset Manager, the Venue Technology Supply Chain Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technology team, and work in close collaboration with the Technology teams based in the US, Canada, Mexico and Zurich as well as other key individuals. This role is pivotal in providing support to our large-scale technology tournament and event operations by meticulously overseeing and coordinating the inventory, warehouse, distribution and logistics operations of all Technology assets required for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and associated events as well.

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Venue Technology Supply Chain Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

  • Coordinate the equipment distribution for Technology assets, ensuring lifecycle of technology assets is correctly tracked, from facilities setup to asset preparation, allocation, retrieval and final disposition.
  • Maintain a precise and updated inventory of all technology assets, including hardware, peripherals, and related equipment.
  • Oversee stock levels, warehouse operations, and storage systems for technology assets and related inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and warehouse staff to ensure accurate tracking, efficient retrieval, and secure storage of assets.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) the timely and secure logistics and distribution of technology assets to various tournament venues, based on Technology requirements
  • Work closely with Logistics and Venue Technology teams to ensure Technology Asset requests are fulfilled on time and schedule
  • Maintain meticulous records of asset assignments, movements and ownership changes at all times.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to align asset management practices with security standards, mitigating potential risks.
  • Generate regular reports on asset status, utilization, stock levels, and supply chain performance for stakeholders and management.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field in logistics, distribution, or transportation management, with a proven track record of operational success in large-scale events or similar environments with a solid understanding of Can-Mex-U.S. transportation regulations and best practices in distribution logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong data management and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
  • Team player with a strong customer-service focus, comfortable across all levels of communication and a desire to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public/private settings as required.
  • Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.

  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish is a plus
TECHNOLOGY
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
