Position Overview
The Engineering Manager will lead and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The role involves managing a team of engineers, coordinating project activities, and collaborating with other departments to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the execution of projects.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee CAD design and engineering processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Coordinate with project engineering teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage capital equipment and capital projects effectively to meet organizational objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering staff and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project engineering and management.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and its applications.
- Experience in capital equipment management and capital projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to 75% Travel in US and Canada
