About This Position

Schedule Monday - Friday

Hours 7:00am - 3:45pm

The Inventory Control Coordinator serves as a liaison between the sales team, warehouse team, and the Corporate offices and is responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory levels. The inventory specialist is responsible for supporting the inventory department with inventory productivity. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards of organization and take initiative to prioritize daily tasks. This is an evolving role that will require adaptability and flexibility among departments.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Packaging, shipping, and tracking merchandise for customers and/or vendors.
• Receiving merchandise into inventory as it arrives in store and making it available to sell.
• Ensure new merchandise received matches vendor invoices.
• Managing price changes.
• Collaborating with Sales Team to deliver creative solutions.
• Flexibility in regard to assisting in other areas around the warehouse.
• Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
• Placing inventory orders and tracking shipments.
• Allocating inventory to the correct departments as it comes into the warehouse and arranging for pickups and shipments.
• Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
• Performing regular inventory counts.
• Works with other teams including sales, shipping, and purchasing.
• Ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with other workers to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue.
• Other duties as assigned

• Weekly, every Thursday

What Youll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 1-2 years Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping Experience a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and organized.
• Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office programs.
