Trillium Construction is now hiring a Field Service / Commissioning Technician in the Central US!

Our client is a World leader in Renewable energy that specialize in capturing harmful methane emissions at their source, cleaning them into a usable fuel and delivering them to fleet customers for a complete end-to-end solution. They are now looking for a Commissioning Technician in Central US to bring on directly.

This position pays between $35 / hr and $40 / hr and offers a full benefits package like M/V/D, PTO, 401k, company vehicle, etc.

Duties:
-Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
-Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
-Creating and carrying out test procedures.
-Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.
-Troubleshooting.
-Liaising with installation technicians and project managers.
-Writing reports and documentation.
-Providing technical support.
-Ensuring safe working conditions.
-Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures.
-Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
-Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters.
-Ensuring that all station equipment, including safety devices and systems are functioning properly, and reporting any equipment failures to management.
-Responsible for booking all travel and tracking all expenses.

Qualifications:
-Excellent mechanical/electrical aptitude.
-Working knowledge of industrial mechanical and hydraulic systems helpful.
-Safety focus required.
-Detail oriented (keeping and organizing work records).
-Computer literate - spreadsheets, word processing desired; work/project scheduling software ability highly desired.
-Must be able to travel - road warrior position (up to 75%).
-Must have a current and valid driver's license, without any restrictions.
