Fabrication LeadSummary:Oversee and execute daily fabrication operations, ensuring proper staffing, safety compliance, quality standards, and process efficiency.Duties/Responsibilities:Directs Fabrication team to complete tasks with Production, Assembly, and testing of manufactured parts.Collaborates with operators to inspect materials and ensure they meet quality standards.Submits all production documentation to the Supervisor at the end of each shift.Ensures space is utilized in the most advantageous method and that required materials are present in designated areas at the correct times.Ability to assist in all facets of fabrication to include the CNC Laser, Press Brake, Hydraulic Tube Bending System, and Welding.Prepares work activities by gathering parts, tools and materials for the current job.Trouble-shoots malfunctions, and submits requests for repairs.Initiates and maintains a safe, clean work environment in compliance with company standards.Assist with equipment changeovers.Assist in other work areas, as needed, during absences/shortages of staff.Required Skills/Abilities:Strong team leadership and organizational skills with attention to detailSolid understanding of proper welding proceduresProficient in using calipers, tape measures, and digital angle findersHigh aptitude for math; ability to read and understand blueprintsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyCommitment to all aspects of safetyEducation and Experience:2 years' experience in a Lead role2+ years' experience as a Welder; Certification or Licensed preferredForklift experienceHigh School diploma or GED preferredBi-lingual Spanish requiredSupervisor Responsibilities:Manages a team of 8-10 individualsPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Position requires moderate walking, standing and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.Work will be performed in the warehouse, around machinery with moving parts, moving objects or vehicles; exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and uneven surfaces.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.Work Hours:Flexible 10-hour shift, Monday – Friday, with occasional need for overtime.$19.00/hrMesquite, TX 75149Please send resumes ...@elitestaffinginc.comanddominiquer@elitestaffinginc.comAll employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.Elite Staffing, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
