Responsibilities include leadership and communication, demonstrating the Whataburger Family Value Proposition, ensuring all products are prepared according to quality standards, supporting food production and promoting excellence in customer relations, performing maintenance tasks, actively participating in sales promotions/marketing events, operating all designated food production or customer service stations, learning and applying the correct location for all items stored and used, achieving certification at the specific stations associated with a position, accurately stating all Whataburger menu items, product ingredients, and when these items are available for sale to customers, stocking the drink, fry, and dining room stations and grill area to assure continuous service, demonstrating knowledge of proper storage procedures, efficiently preparing all produce items, maintaining all utensils and food production equipment in good working order, following correct procedures for lifting and carrying heavy items, mopping spills or leaks quickly, notifying the management person on duty of any leaks or equipment failures, demonstrating knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals, cleaning the customer service areas, disposing of all trash properly, achieving certification in all cleaning and sanitation procedures, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, supporting customer service, demonstrating fiscal responsibility with all Company assets, following company cash handling policies, and being able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand during entire shift, reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry and push, read orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc., frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items, and frequent washing of hands.
