As a part of our Decision Sciences group, you will work with our clients to help define solutions for institutionalizing data-driven decision-making in a cost-effective and scalable manner. The focus is not only on driving analytical outcomes but defining approaches to automate the operationalizing of the predictions within our client applications. You will not just be a data and a statistical expert, but a cognitive engineer who can combine analytics, mathematics, AI, and computational methods in helping improve our clients' predictive and prescriptive capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Use data mining, machine learning, and other tools to design and develop recommendation engines, predictive models, scoring algorithms, and other data products which drive user segmentation, engagement, retention, monetization
• Provide technical expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, machine learning, NLP, and Information Retrieval.
• Build statistical models @ scale
• Collaborate effectively with data engineers, data scientists, and client business teams.
• Communicate effectively to different audiences, both technical and non-technical, through good storytelling and data visualization.

• Experience working on Hadoop platforms. Familiarity with a number of elements of the Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, Hive, MapReduce, and Spark.
• Strong technical experience with PySpark ML libraries and/ or Python/ Pandas.
• Experience with Domino Data Science Platform
• Data Exposure to tools such as Tensor Flow / Sagemaker, H2O.AI is a plus
• A deep background in one of the following: information retrieval/search ranking, natural language processing, collaborative filtering, or ontology management/data normalization.
• Text analytics/ NLP experience a strong positive.
• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Information Systems or Engineering is required.
