Security Position at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

Maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees and protect all assets of the hotel and assure compliance with our policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities (key activities) The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

• Screen all employees, guests and visitors using the employee entrance.
• Locate and identify safety hazards and security breaches within the hotel.
• Monitor electronic surveillance equipment as needed to observe all activity within all property areas.
• Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
• Use proper radio communication procedures.
• Patrol and observe all activities within the property.
• Report and investigate any occurrences or incidents within the hotel.
• Assure that key control procedures are strictly enforced.
• Complete reports, forms and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding employees, guests or incidents.
• Maintain a professional image and demeanor.
• Assure that only authorized hotel property or packages leave the hotel via the employee entrance. Inspect all packages, purses, etc., as needed.
