Attorney Position

We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our prestigious law firm in Dallas, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex civil litigation cases at both state and federal levels, working with a diverse and national client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling cases from inception to resolution and exhibit strong trial capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a comprehensive caseload, overseeing all phases of litigation from initial filing to case closure.
  • Draft and file legal motions, pleadings, and other necessary litigation documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in mediation and trial proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop strategic approaches tailored to each case.
  • Provide defense representation in areas such as personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and malpractice related to specialized fields.
  • Handle commercial vehicle and trucking litigation, ensuring thorough preparation and case execution.
  • Participate in trial preparation and serve as second or first chair during trials.
  • Maintain compliance with legal standards while delivering high-quality representation and advocacy.
  • Foster detail oriented growth and contribute to the firm's reputation through exceptional legal work.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in advancing cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Requirements:

    • Hold a valid license to practice law and be in good standing with the state bar.
    • Possess 8 or more years of civil litigation experience, with flexibility for candidates with slightly less or more experience.
    • Demonstrate expertise in areas such as personal injury, premises liability, and malpractice.
    • Have experience managing cases independently, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
    • Exhibit strong skills in conducting depositions and attending hearings and mediations.
    • Show familiarity with defense litigation and insurance-related cases.
    • Proven ability to serve as either second or first chair in trials.
    • Experience with products liability trucking litigation, or construction defect litigation is a plus.
