What You'll Do:As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in our operations by:
Safely loading and unloading scrap metal materials onto and from trailers, bins, and crates.
Transferring materials to their proper locations and preparing them for shipment.
Assisting customers with professionalism and ensuring materials are properly labeled and sorted.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace by removing debris and potential hazards.
Following production plans and adhering to safety protocols.
What You Bring:
A commitment to safety and teamwork.
The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in varying weather conditions, and perform physical tasks like kneeling, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of consecutive sit-down forklift experience (OSHA certification preferred but not required).

Work Environment:
Warehouse-based with exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying weather conditions.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided, including ear protection for loud environments.
Frequent bending, lifting, and physical activity are required.
