leader to enhance and improve the overall instructional program.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree, preferred
Valid Texasteaching certificate

Ability to read and interpret documents such as government rules, procedure manuals, and safety rules

Experience
Three (3) years experience as a classroom teacher
Two (2) years experience in instructional leadership roles, preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Inventory
1. Perform all aspects of the requisition, and distribution of instructional materials in accordance with State and district
regulations, policy, and guidelines.
2. Implement and maintain in accountable school-site instructional materials inventory management system that ensures
appropriate quantities of instructional materials are available at each campus when required for instruction.
3. Ensure campuses perform a yearly inventory of all instructional materials and conduct audits to confirm compliance.
4. Coordinate and collaborate with the Instructional Materials Clerk to conduct an annual physical inventory of the district's
instructional materials.
Administration
5. Manage all aspects of the instructional materials adoption process.
6. Oversee the Technology and Instructional Materials Allotment Fund and budget for the purchase of instructional
materials.
7. Coordinate the purchase, ordering, inventory and use of campus instructional aids and materials.
8. Collaborate with and support the instructional Materials Clerk training of campus staff to use established
procedures and guidelines to effectively and efficiently implement a site-by-site instructional materials inventory
management and distribution program.
9. Work with district accounting, purchasing, and distribution services to ensure the timely receipt, identification and
recording of newly acquired instructional materials.
10. Follow districts safety protocols and emergency procedures.
11. Participate in training that will enhance skills.
12. Be available by phone, email, or video conferencing, to confer with district personnel, students, and/or parents.
13. Communicate with students or parents on a regular basis via phone or video conference, email or districtapproved website.
Curriculum
14. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonalskills.
15. Collaborate with Curriculum Facilitators to assign content assignments in designated digital platforms.
16. Participate in the district level decision process to establish and review the district's goals and objectives, particularly
those that relate to instructional improvement.
17. Assist with Fitness Gram submissions when appropriate.
Records and Reports
18. Use records management and administration procedures to ensure inventory records and maintained, preserved, and
disposed of in accordance with the requirements of State and district regulations, policy, and guidelines.
19. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
