Job Details

Summary/Objective: Performs any combination of following assembly line tasks to assemble structural parts, such as metal sashes, doors, windows, using hand tools and portable power tools: Assembles frame components, such as tops, bottoms, sides, panels, and molding in jigs or fixtures.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks
• Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred.
• Availability to work overtime hours, weekends and holidays preferred
• Mathematical: Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide 10's and 100's.
• Must be able to stand long periods of time

Responsibilities:

• Assembles hardware, such as locks, hinges, catches, and swivels on frame and fastens hardware to frame, using various tools
• May lay out reference points for drilling holes in frame members, using template, rule, and square
• Load and unload off rolling material carts and match drawings from the purchase order on to staging tables
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product onto pallets.
• Operates various machinery including brooms, measuring tape, tape guns, knives/blades, and other machines as required
• Analyze order sheets based on client orders and pull appropriate product for each order
• Quality control, verify material is not damaged/scratched and all pieces are in order according to the drawing/purchase order.
• Organize and stage multiple projects
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
