Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized SupplyChain Clerk to join our Parts team in supporting our maintenance departments.This role is responsible for maintaining and tracking the supply of parts,tools, and materials needed to keep aircraft operations running safely andefficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviationproducts and terms, with a strong attention to detail, organization, andadministrative skills to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced aviationenvironment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include thefollowing:
• Monitor andmaintain accurate and detailed records and invoices of supplies
• Coordinatethe beginning to end cycle of company supplies; includes but not limited topurchasing, tracking, deliveries, and recordkeeping
• Report onreporting discrepancies and ensure purchasing records are submitted timely andlegibly
• Create andmaintain meaningful relationship with vendors
• Coordinateand complete reoccurring pickups as needed
• Maintainpurchase orders and communicate frequently with vendors
• Assist withdeveloping and implementing strategies to more efficient and cost-effectiveprocesses and handling of supplies
• Coordinatemaintenance requests with designated vendors as needed
• Work withother departments to assist with overall supply needs
• Assist andhandle urgent supply issues that may arise, utilizing available resources toprovide solution focused results and seeking assistance if needed
• Analyze andprovide in-depth research on current pricing/quotes and new vendors
• Present supplyupdates to MX team meetings
• Effectivelyand safely operate a forklift

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
• High schooldiploma or general education degree (GED)
• No speciallicenses or certificates required
• 2-3 yearsof experience in aviation. Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• General aviation product support experience

Certifications, Licenses, & Badging

  • Ability to attain Love Field Badge
  • Valid Driver's License
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly exposed to various weather conditions. The employee may be exposed toloud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demandsregularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climbalong with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interactionwith vendors where tact and consideration are mandatory while maintaining ateam effort in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III CertifiedOperator with FAA Approved SMS/ASAP Programs.

Additional Demands

May need to travel to pick up parts directly from vendorsoccasionally.
