Senior Tax Manager
Location: Hybrid (Remote flexibility with required in-office presence for client meetings in Dallas, TX or Shreveport, LA)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our leadership team. This is a partner-track role for a professional who demonstrates strong technical expertise, leadership, and business development capabilities. Partnership eligibility is based on demonstrated performance and contribution to the firm's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and review of federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Manage and mentor tax staff, ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to firm standards.
- Lead client meetings and deliver proactive tax planning and strategic advisory solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Conduct tax research and provide authoritative guidance on complex issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with partners on firm strategy, client engagement, and growth initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and promote staff development within the tax department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Minimum of 10 years of public accounting and tax experience, including management of tax staff.
- Strong technical expertise in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning including proficiency in leveraging modern tax and accounting technology platforms to improve efficiency and quality.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in UltraTax, QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters; knowledge of TaxDome a plus.
- Must be willing to travel as needed to firm offices or client meetings in the Dallas, TX or Shreveport, LA area.
