Commercial Counsel – Global Semiconductor Company

Representing a global semiconductor leader, we are proud to be leading the search for a Commercial Counsel. This newly created role will focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts while partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams. You will have the opportunity to influence processes, support global collaboration, and drive commercial performance.

Location

100% in‑office in Coppell, TX (potential for limited remote flexibility). No relocation assistance available.

Compensation

Base pay: $134,400–$168,000 per year. Additional: annual bonus (~15%).

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate NDAs and confidentiality agreements across multiple product groups and business units.
• Draft and negotiate sales and purchase agreements, including master agreements with customers.
• Support technology development contracts for custom chip projects after training.
• Manage high‑volume contract cycles with 20–30 open projects at any time.
• Provide ad‑hoc legal support, including certifications and representation letters.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and cross‑functional teams globally.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 2–4 years of legal experience (law firm or in‑house).
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work 100% in‑office in Coppell, TX (with potential for limited remote flexibility).
• Cultural agility and adaptability to collaborate with global teams.
• No prior semiconductor experience required – training will be provided.
