About the Company

A leading real estate investment firm is seeking an Associate to join the investments team. This role will support the evaluation, underwriting, and execution of acquisitions across the region, with exposure to a variety of asset types including industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite potential investment opportunities, including gathering and analyzing key data for sourcing and evaluating deals.
• Support all phases of due diligence for assets under contract, coordinating with third-party partners such as brokers, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare and present market and property-level research, reports, and investment summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Build, update, and review Argus models.
• Create sales and lease comparable analyses and support valuation efforts.
• Run detailed DCF models and assist in financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
• Help identify target properties that meet the firm's acquisition strategy and criteria.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable, accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in a real-estate focused role.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Argus is strongly preferred.
