Reports To: Fire Alarm & Security Supervisor
EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

• Responsible for installation, setup, programming, maintenance, and repair of all security cameras, DVR's, and security surveillance system software.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate degree in computer science, programing, technology, or related field preferred
• Valid Texas driver's license

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Knowledge of network cabling and network protocols.
• Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work within a high pressure environment.
• Possess effective communication, public relation and interpersonal skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Have direct experience with the installation and servicing of security surveillance systems.
• Have experience with installation of IP based security systems.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Install and maintain security system cameras and surveillance systems within the district.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

Mental Demands:

• Able to work in high pressure environment

Physical demands/environmental factors:

• Able to work overtime as needed
• Able to lift (60) pounds
