Warehouse Associate

Surestaff is immediately hiring for Shipper Receiver in Dallas, TX. As a Warehouse Associate for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations. Experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp to perm employees are offered competitive compensation $18.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:

• Pick orders accurately and ensure that all orders run through a pick verification process
• Ensure warehouse is physically clean and orderly as well as assigned correctly online
• Schedule and load/unload inbound and outbound freight with different carriers, modes, and requirements
• Must be able to connect and build relationships with associates, vendors and customers
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions, behaviors, and improper work processes
• Assist in weekly cycle counts and report findings

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Friendly with great customer service skills
• Capable of multi-tasking with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong mathematical skills
