Install, assemble, and test store fixture equipment (shelving, display racks, related systems) at customer sites.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, providing timely solutions.
Provide on-site customer support, including training clients on proper use and maintenance.
Document service activities with detailed reports.
Maintain tools, parts, and equipment in company vehicle.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams by relaying customer feedback.
Operate and maintain company vehicle safely and reliably.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification/associate degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role (store fixture installation/maintenance preferred).
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read blueprints/schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with clean record; willingness to travel frequently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements using a tape measure and calipers.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions.
Basic computer literacy for service reports and mobile tools.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.
Experience with retail shelving or display systems (especially Madix products).
Prior customer-facing experience in service or technical support.
