Welder

Experience Requirements:

• 13 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (required or preferred).
• Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding depending on the company's process.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication, cutting, and fitting.
• Experience using grinders, saws, torches, and measuring tools.
• Understanding of weld quality standards and inspection methods

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to measure, cut, and align components precisely before welding.
• Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure use)
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.
• Teamwork and communication skills for working in a production cell environment.

Optional but Valuable Experience:

• Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication layout.
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, D17.1, etc.).
• Experience operating robots or automated welding machines.
• Knowledge of different metals (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless).
• Basic understanding of weld repair

*Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, standing environments.
