Key tasks and responsibilities include preparing packages according to written or computer-generated orders, wrapping, protecting, and packing orders, sealing, gluing, and labeling containers with appropriate identification, weighing, transporting, stacking, or arranging products and packed containers, performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures, handling basic issues and problems and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff, and possessing a beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Education required is a high school graduate. Skills and minimum experience required include basic math and computer skills, ability to understand and follow directions, and ability to lift/move heavy objects. Problem-solving skills are also required.

Preferred skills and experience include assistance and reliability, communication and contact, and relationships with others. This job operates in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to dust, odors, and noise. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions that can be found on the production floor.
