Overview
The Distribution Clerk is responsible to support all clients, both internally and externally, utilizing excellent administrative and client service skills and focusing on REI's core business functions.
Essential Functions
* Produce timely and accurate distribution support for all clients
* Maintain and order distribution supplies
* Daily filing
* Sending out termination letters
* E-Verify submission
* Answering garnishment orders
* Distributing mail to each department daily
* Ordering and maintaining supplies for Payroll Dept.
* Taking mail to post office daily
* Special projects as needed
Required Experience
* Office/administrative experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
General Skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic and sense of urgency
* Coachable and enthusiastic about being part of a team
* The intellect to "think on your feet," solve problems, and make wise decisions
* Ability to be a creative thinker and leverage positive influence
* Time management, planning and multi-tasking aptitudes
Additional Abilities:
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out simple instructions.
* Ability to deal with standardized situations with little or no variables.
Computer Skills
* To perform this job successfully, candidate must possess advanced system skills on the following: Microsoft Office; Internet software
