Job Details

This position will suit a Senior Electrical Engineer with Data Center expertise. Senior Director, Data Center Engineering and Design required but an industry leader in data center colocation and hyperscale, with nearly 100 locations globally.

Preference to Denver or Dallas

The role

• Technically and strategically lead data center design and delivery
• Lead a team of engineering experts, including mechanical & electrical
• Manage external engineering teams
• Deliver data center cooling (liquid and air), power, UPS, switchgear, electrical systems
• Develop templates and technical specifications (mechanical and electrical)
• Strategic planning of capacity upgrades and systems upgrades

Requirement

• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Experience managing an engineering team
• Electrical engineering and/or MEP leadership experience
• Data Center design and electrical code
• Solid understanding of data centers, electrical plant, mechanical plants, cooling systems etc
• Understanding of construction principles and application to data centers
