Position Overview:
safely operating a stand-up reach forklift to move, store, and retrieve materials within a warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management and order fulfillment. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and potentially some loading/unloading and inventory management tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the Reach Truck:Safely operating a stand-up reach truck to move materials, including loading and unloading goods from trucks and within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management:Picking, packing, and staging materials or products accurately, potentially including inventory checks and record-keeping.
- Order Fulfillment:Retrieving and staging products for customer orders and preparing them for dispatch.
- Loading/Unloading:Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles, potentially including securing loads.
- Safety Compliance:Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols related to operating the reach truck and other warehouse equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance:Conducting daily pre-operational checks on the reach truck and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Warehouse Organization:Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and removal of debris.
- Team Collaboration:Working with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
- Documentation: Completing necessary paperwork, such as inventory logs and damage reports.
- Loading and unloading trailers, performing inventory checks, maintaining a clean work area, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
