The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Dallas Aviation Project Manager to join our Aviation Practice in our Dallas, TX office!

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Aviation Team in Dallas. The Project Manager will oversee significant aspects of the successful delivery of projects, including leading production teams, quality assurances, and financial performance. Projects range from airside to landside, from small to large, and everything in between. Opportunities include the design of runways, taxiways, and aprons, bituminous and concrete pavement, stormwater and utility infrastructure; coordination with airports, airlines, FAA, and other tenants; construction administration/management; grant management; and coordination with other RS&H disciplines. Responsibilities:

1. Communicate directly with clients, helping to foster and maintain client relationships.
2. Support leadership of the Dallas Aviation team, including client management, assisting in winning work, leading, developing, and delivering projects, managing financial performance, and mentoring associates.
3. Design projects, systems, components, and processes. Prepare project plans, specifications, and reports.
4. Analyze and interpret data. Perform analyses of design, planning, and impact studies, as well as cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and design layouts.
5. Apply advanced knowledge and expertise to resolve complex issues and/or unique challenges.
6. Support business development in the Aviation market to provide growth and sustained backlog, including management of client relationships for loyalty, long-term engagement, and lifetime retention.
7. Responsible for project performance and execution, including oversight of Design Teams through mentorship and project leadership.
8. Recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.

Required Qualifications:

1. ABET accredited Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil design, at least 6 in aviation-related facilities.
3. Texas PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting.
4. Effective team-focused associate that will foster teamwork, help set priorities, and define expectations.
5. Strong supervisory skills and record of leading design teams.
6. Good organization and motivation skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Excellent presentation skills.
9. Ability to travel across the region to existing/potential Airport Clients.
10. Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
11. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for use in completing an assignment.
