Akkodis is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for a contract job with a client in Dallas, Texas (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.

Rate Range: $49.24 to $64.39/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Cloud Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Work with AWS services like Athena, API Gateway, ECS Fargate, Lambda, SES, EKS, and SQS.
• Utilize Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Datadog, and unit testing.
• Solve complex technical challenges while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/Terragrunt scripts.
• Lead technical solutions and delivery within a scrum team.

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years in cloud engineering and AWS infrastructure development.
• Expertise in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices.
• Prior experience leading cloud migration and optimization projects.

Pay Details: $49.24 to $64.39 per hour.
