Job Duties

• Coordinate the Preventive activities in the maintenance department
• Implement and manage a culture of zero breakdowns using continuous improvement and lean manufacturing tools to achieve the department's goals
• Manage Controls Engineers & Techs, Utilities & Making Technicians, Spare Parts Team and Planner
• Ensure the Preventative Maintenance schedule is completed
• Coordinate the execution of the Corrective requests.
• Assign the correct Preventative Maintenance and resources for the execution.
• Compliance with the organization's rules, procedures, and policies.
• Mentor employees and help with any training they need to hit their goals
• Coordinate the coverage of the shifts of the controls team.
• Support in any TSPR and validations of Engineering.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree is required
• 4+ years of experience in preventative utilities and controls
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Preventative Maintenance Theory
• Experience with Boilers, Compressors, Cooling Towers, Chillers
• PLC Programming
• Strong communication
• Proven leadership experience
