Description of the Role

As a porter/shuttle driver at Canton Ford you will be responsible for transporting customers to and from our dealership or service center and maintaining the building and lot as needed. You will ensure a safe and comfortable driving experience for our customers while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive customers to their desired destinations within Canton and surrounding areas. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, passengers, and others on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their needs and answering any questions they may have.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicles both inside and out. Keep track of mileage and fuel usage, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Adhere to all company's policies and procedures regarding the shuttle services.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous experience as shuttle driver or in a similar customer service role is preferred
• Knowledge of the Canton area and surrounding locations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including sitting for long periods and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
