Our Dallas location operates 24/7 to provide reliable and efficient services to our customers. Were currently seeking a dedicated Night Shift Scale Operator to join our hardworking team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the scale system to weigh incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
- Ensure proper documentation of materials by verifying tickets, loads, and weights.
- Communicate clearly with customers, drivers, and yard personnel to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment around the scale house.
- Troubleshoot and report any scale or system malfunctions
- Work night shifts with opportunities for plenty of overtime, including weekends as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
- Basic computer skills (experience with scale software is a plus!).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a scrap yard, recycling, or industrial setting is a bonus, but were willing to train the right person!
