Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a HR Service Center Representative II to be based out of Dallas, TX Reporting to Senior Director of HR Integration and Special Projects, this person will be high level partner within a centralized team that will function as a back office for Human Resources administration throughout the Atkore enterprise to promote automation, compliance and standardize processes.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with up to 5 years of experience in human resources. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:

  • Use applicable human resource management systems to ensure timely completion and accuracy related to all employee events, such as hiring, transfers, and promotions.
  • Perform administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to employment changes, which may include shift schedule adjustments, layoffs, resignations, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Partner with front facing HR Business Partners across the enterprise to manage employee data within the HRIS platforms.
  • Support cyclical HR processes (i.e. service awards, open enrollment, annual merit process, etc.)
  • Act as communication funnel between HR and internal customers regarding approvals, processes, and projects.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years related experience.Previous HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Skilled with HRIS systems and other HR-related software, especially UKG
  • Capable of managing and handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously utilizing organizational and time management skills
  • Professional image with strong interpersonal skills to form good partner relationships across different functional areas and communicate complex information in a straightforward, understandable manner
  • Proficient skill in using a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Within 3 months, you'll:
  • Complete your Atkore immersion program
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy
  • Gain an understanding of your team and key contacts
  • Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns
Within 6 months, you'll:
  • Identify ways to strengthen the team's commitment to Atkore's core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence
  • Establish engaged relationships with your team and key contacts
  • Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy while working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Compile and format intermediate level reports and data from HRIS system
Within 12 months, you'll:
  • Be part of an efficient team that supports Atkore's strategy.
  • Manage complex employee structure changes
  • Perform audits of employee benefits and other compliance related internal and external reviews
  • Interact daily with team and key contacts to identify improvements to standard work and training materials
