Job Description
Roessel Joy Technology has partnered with a premiere consulting firm to hire a contract IT Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Information Technology department with all aspects of technology related to Support and IT priorities.

Requirements

  • Provide a high level of customer service while supporting case teams and office-based staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Support includes, but is not limited to, laptops, desktops, Smartphones, and phone and voice mail systems, both in and outside the office.
  • Assist with managing local technology to increase reliability, security, interoperability, and effectiveness of customer work while reducing costs.
  • Understand and effectively discuss services and software provided by IT Service
  • Gather feedback and evaluate the impact of IT Service offerings
  • Assist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including configuration and imaging of laptops
  • Support a variety of operating systems and applications
  • Assist with hardware and software asset tracking and inventory management
  • Troubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systems
  • Maintain problem call history by recording calls in Service Now help desk tracking database; analyze
  • This is a 6 month contract role


Requirements

Qualifications:

- Required to be in office M-F
•Two year's experience in a similar role
•Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and MAC OS
•Experience troubleshooting Windows 10, MAC OS, Office Suite, Internet Explorer, VPN/network
•Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and escalate to the appropriate expertise area
•Basic skills in the following areas: PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking, and server administration
•Knowledge of MS Office products, including, but not limited to, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
•Excellent customer service skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
•Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
